Costamare owns one of the industry's largest fleets of containerships for charter. The Costamare containership fleet includes vessels of various sizes and has been acquired to meet customers' needs. The Costamare containership fleet is able to operate on East-West, North-South and intra-regional trade routes, giving Costamare increased flexibility in re-chartering its containerships.
We construct our newbuild containerships in reputable shipyards. We invariably maintain the whole Costamare fleet to the highest standard. New and older vessels alike are subject to careful condition-monitoring and preventive maintenance by our managers.
Costamare owns a dry bulk fleet of 37 vessels (including one vessel that we have agreed to sell), that serve short, medium and long-haul dry bulk trade routes worldwide. Our quality, well-maintained and diversified dry bulk fleet can meet the high standards of our customers and give us the flexibility to re-charter and position our bulkers in a way that allow us to exploit any favourable market opportunities.
In addition to the structural quality of the said vessels, the whole of the Costamare fleet is crewed by well-qualified crews and experienced officers.
